Falcon FS290 Super MEWP

The Falcon FS290 MEWP has a huge working height of 29m and a maximum outreach of 13m. This original atrium lift has stood the test of time and continues to be developed to offer class-leading features. Its narrow access platform design is ideal for carrying out even the most demanding access tasks that modern buildings require. The Falcon FS290 fits through a narrow doorway of only 0.8m wide and 19.8m high. It is equipped with a unique double fly-jib facility which is employed by all of Falcon FS spider lifts allowing the operator to work in difficult to reach areas where other types of MEWPs simply could not operate.

Transformer & Lead
It's essential to fully charge all electric equipment each night in order to get the most out of them and prolong the lifespan of the batteries. Charging facilities on site can often be limited and 110V power may not even be an option. In these cases, our 110V transformers can be used to lower the 240V voltage coming from a standard UK plug socket down to the 110V that is required to safely charge the electric equipment. These can be supplied in 3.3kVA or 5kVA models depending on the type of machine being charged.

Chalwyn Valves
Typically used in Petrochemical plants and areas where petrol and other flammable materials are present, Chalwyn valves provide emergency overspeed shutdown protection for diesel engines and are the most effective way of preventing runaway situations. They work by blocking the engine's air intake system, cutting off an uncontrolled external fuel source and the air required to keep the engine running.

When operating diesel engines in Petrochemical plants and other hazardous environments such as petrol station forecourts, a sudden release of flammable gas or hydrocarbon vapour can happen at any time and be instantly drawn into the engine's air intake. This external fuel source would prevent the machine from shutting off, meaning the engine would continue to accelerate rapidly. Chalwyn Valves are the most effective way of preventing these runaway situations, providing emergency overspeed shutdown protection by blocking the engine's air intake system, cutting off the uncontrolled external fuel source and the air required to keep the engine running.
