The training required depends on the type of powered access platform you hire and will be operating. IPAF provides industry-recognised MEWP operator training across different machine categories, with successful operators receiving a PAL Card covering the categories they have been trained to use. For instance, mobile boom lifts will require Category 3b training, while static boom lifts and vehicle mounted platforms will require Category 1b training.
