JCB 531-70 Telescopic Forklift

The JCB 531-70 is designed to meet the challenges of modern construction sites. Its compact dimensions, unrivalled manoeuvrability, unparalleled build quality, and all-day operator comfort all come as standard. This telescopic handler is suited for taking on the narrowest spaces due to its small size and all-terrain design which makes it perfect for slippery surfaces and heavy workloads.

Ease of operation is guaranteed by the ability to instantly select steering options between all wheel steer, front wheel steer, and crab steer modes. Additionally, a tight turning radius of 3.7m ensures exceptional manoeuvrability, even in the tightest of spaces. This MEWP has a forward reach of 3.7m, lift capacity of 3.1 tonnes, and a lift height of 7m, which, when combined, offer fantastic capability for a range of on-site jobs and tasks.

The JCB 531-70 is also equipped with an advanced JCB Dieselmax Stage V engine and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) to reduce exhaust emissions and ensure compliance with all Stage V requirements and directives. Plus, an auto regeneration system is included which ensures maximum productivity for the engine.

Typically used in Petrochemical plants and areas where petrol and other flammable materials are present, Chalwyn valves provide emergency overspeed shutdown protection for diesel engines and are the most effective way of preventing runaway situations. They work by blocking the engine's air intake system, cutting off an uncontrolled external fuel source and the air required to keep the engine running.

When operating diesel engines in Petrochemical plants and other hazardous environments such as petrol station forecourts, a sudden release of flammable gas or hydrocarbon vapour can happen at any time and be instantly drawn into the engine's air intake. This external fuel source would prevent the machine from shutting off, meaning the engine would continue to accelerate rapidly. Chalwyn Valves are the most effective way of preventing these runaway situations, providing emergency overspeed shutdown protection by blocking the engine's air intake system, cutting off the uncontrolled external fuel source and the air required to keep the engine running.

Diesel Powered

Four Wheel Drive
Benefit from exceptional traction on rough terrain thanks to its 4-wheel drive and the automatic levelling system, which acts on both the wheels and stabilisers.
Crab Steering – TH
A four-wheel steering mode where all 4 wheels can turn in the same direction, allowing the machine to traverse diagonally, similar to a crab's walk.
Rough Terrain Tyres – TH
This tyres fitted on this machine feature an aggressive tread design for improved handling and rough-terrain capability. This style of tyre is best for unfinished sites and muddy, uneven ground conditions such as construction sites.
Four-Wheel Steering – TH
A feature allowing all 4 wheels to be utilised for steering, drastically improving the manoeuvrability of the machine in environments where space is limited. The operator can easily cycle between steering modes from the cab.
Heating/Air Conditioning
The air conditioning option helps to automatically create a climate of constant well-being in the passenger compartment, even in the event of direct sunlight or very high or very low external temperatures. For this purpose the temperature, the intensity of the ventilation and the air distribution are regulated by sensors according to the settings and continuously adapted to the current conditions. Integrated dehumidification effectively prevents fogging of the crystals.
Rear-Mounted Camera
Video camera installed on the rear of the machine to increase visibility and thereby safety when manoeuvring. Thanks to the monitor in the cab it is possible to check any blind spot.
Additional Cameras
Kit composed of n.4 ball cameras with extremely robust case in polycarbonate for hard-to-reach areas outside the vehicle. Alignable on all sides. Camera images are displayed on the touch screen monitor in the cab, dividing the video into four equal sections.
Stage V Engine
This machine is fitted with a powerful yet efficient Stage V engine.

Not only are Stage V engines designed to be more fuel-efficient, but they also emit significantly fewer harmful emissions through the use of advanced technologies like selective catalytic reduction (SCR), diesel particulate filters (DPF), and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR).
