(NT29 – Support for local community projects through volunteering)
On Tuesday 28 July 2026, we were proud to join our customer Aureos to support Growing Sudley CIC, a community interest company in Liverpool dedicated to therapeutic gardening, wellbeing, and nature-based community activities.
The CIC delivers fantastic work supporting community health and wellbeing through nature— via forest school activities, horticulture projects, and therapeutic programmes for adults with brain injuries, dementia, strokes, and young people with learning difficulties.
Liverpool City Council, Aureos and it’s supply chain had been asked to help with digging, weeding and cutting back brambles and nettles. The aim of the project was to help create a small rain garden, to help with run off from the site. On a very hot day, we were happy to roll up our sleeves and get stuck in, leaving a well cleared plot at the end of the day to support the next stage of the project.
“As the week draws to a close, I wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for your help at Growing Sudley on Tuesday. It’s always great not only attending, but seeing the support that’s provided to community groups by everyone working together. Thank you all – make sure that whatever the week may have brought, that you remember you have made a difference.” – Stuart Culley, Customer & Social Value Lead, Aureos
